A specialized training course titled "Bibliographic cataloging for Books based on RDA Rules, MARC 21 Standard, and Arabic Union Catalogue Practices" was organized by the Arabic Union Catalog in collaboration with Umm Al-Qura University. In conjunction with the course, the Gulf Cooperation Council Deans and Library Officials Committee met. Participants from Gulf Cooperation Council countries representing universities affiliated with the Deans and Library Officials Committee attended the three-day course.
