Arabic Union Catalog has won the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information Award for Outstanding Project in Libraries and Information Centers for 2019. The award recognizes the project's efforts to upgrade the AUC’s database from Anglo-American Cataloging Rules "AACR2" to Resource Description and Access "RDA". Dr. Saleh Al-Musned received the award from Mr. Habib Shawat, the Governor of Medenine, and Dr. Khaled Al-Halabi, President of the Arab Federation for Libraries, and Information.
